Olive Sea بحر الزيتون presents in-between places and shared tales as both concept and process. Cast resin olives in blue, green, black, and white are embedded into the surface, reflecting the shifting tones of olives, sea waves, and the sky, while evoking traces of fallen olives on a draped cloth. These elements introduce physical depth, transforming the piece into a hybrid between print and object. Bringing together memory, field documentation, and material experimentation, the work does not depict place directly but suggests continuity and connection across landscapes, stories, and lived experience.
