Porcelain with varied glaze
Betweens is a collection of glazed porcelain of multiple castings of a lettering of the word "بين" which translates to “between”. The lettering was sketched, designed and 3D modeled from which then a mold was created to produce the castings out of liquid porcelain. Exploring the concept of the state in-between as a place for the limitless and the infinite to emerge. Often we see ourselves being restricted between environments, situations and ideas. In this body of work Reham Explores the idea of embracing the between, in which while being in-between, the chances to wander within transcends the limits of representation, of physical realities, and boundaries. Therefore everyone will be able to tap into an infinite range of experiences of what art could achieve.
