Ai OR NAY? Artificial vs. Intelligent

Exhibition Brand and Creative Direction
with Studio Flux
2024–2025

AI OR NAY? Artificial vs. Intelligent is an exhibition at The Media Majlis at Northwestern University in Qatar that examines the evolving relationship between human creativity and artificial intelligence. Featuring more than twenty works by regional and international artists across visual art, installations, mixed media, and immersive digital experiences, the exhibition invites audiences to consider how AI is transforming journalism, identity, privacy, and representation. Curated by Jack Thomas Taylor, the exhibition poses critical questions about authorship, agency, and the increasingly blurred boundaries between human and machine intelligence.

Working collaboratively with Studio Flux, on the creative direction and exhibition branding, developing a comprehensive visual identity and writing system that informed the exhibition's communication across physical and digital touchpoints. The identity was designed to reflect the exhibition's central tension between artificial and human intelligence, creating a flexible framework that translated seamlessly across editorial design, environmental graphics, motion, and campaign materials.
